New Procedures for Late Arrival/Early Dismissal and Drop off Items

New Vestibule Guidelines

For health and safety all visitors must wear a mask when entering the vestibule.  All social distancing guidelines must be followed.  When entering the building if you see a family in the vestibule, we ask that you please remain outside until the vestibule is clear.

New Late Arrival Procedures

For health and safety all visitors must wear a mask when entering the vestibule.  At this time only staff and students may enter past the vestibule.

Use the Buzzer to call into the Front Office to let the secretaries know that your student has arrived. Please use a clean pen to sign your student in on the Late Arrival Sheet.  Once you have finished we ask that you place the pen in the “USED” container provided.  Hand Sanitizer has been provided for you.

New Early Dismissal Procedures

For health and safety all visitors must wear a mask when entering the vestibule.  At this time only staff and students may enter past the vestibule.

Use the Buzzer to call into the Front Office to let the secretaries know that you are picking your student up early. Please use a clean pen to sign your student out on the Early Dismissal Sheet.  Once you have finished we ask that you place the pen in the “USED” container provided.  Hand Sanitizer has been provided for you.

For safety purposes the Front Office cannot accommodate any early dismissals after 3:45 pm.

New Change in Student Dismissal Procedures

For health and safety all visitors must wear a mask when entering the vestibule.  At this time only staff and students may enter past the vestibule.

If your child is changing from a bus to a carpool/walker, then either send in a note or email the homeroom teacher.  If the change occurs after your student comes to school, please email (carmelita_taylor@hcpss.org, donna_thorn@hcpss.org, or iris_feinberg@hcpss.org. or call the office at 410-313-2825 by 3:00 pm that day as teachers do not check email during instruction.

Drop off or Pick Up Items

For health and safety all visitors must wear a mask when entering the vestibule.  At this time only staff and students may enter past the vestibule.

Please buzz the front office and let the secretaries know that you will be leaving items for your student.

Forgotten Items (lunches, instruments, etc.):  You may drop off on the table in the vestibule.  Please label the item with your students name and teacher. 

Pick up:  Some items will be labeled with your child’s name so that you can pick up from the table in the vestibule.  If the item is personal/valuable, then you can call the front office and we can pass it to you either in the vestibule or outside.
