Worthington Transitions to A Hybrid Model

WORTHINGTON TRANSITIONS TO A HYBRID MODEL

Monday, March 1st starts with our Phase I of students returning to our building. The following is the return schedule:

 

  • Phase 2 - Group A/B in PreK, Kindergarten, 1st grade, and 2nd grade start March 15

  • Phase 3 - Group A/B in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades start March 29

 

We have prepared a video for our transition to a hybrid model. Please take a few minutes to share our video with your child(ren). 

 

Please remember that all student schedules will change on Monday, for both students returning in-person and those remaining virtual. All school start times will be adjusted to begin 20 minutes later than pre-COVID start times. You can find the general Worthington's schedule online at https://www.hcpss.org/2020-2021/hybrid-schedules/woes/. Each grade level team is sending a more-detailed schedule. 

For students returning in person, please note:

  • If you are eligible for, and opted into receiving transportation services, you can now log in to the HCPSS Bus Stop Locator (Links to an external site.) for locations and times.

  • You can find the Worthington Readiness Checklist online at https://facilities-checklist.hcpss.org/woes/2021-02-25-checklist

  • Families of students in Group E (5 days) should have received confirmation your child is enrolled and will return in person Monday, March 1. If you did not receive this information, please contact our front office at 410-313-2825.

  • Families of students in Groups A or B (hybrid) will receive communication from us beginning Monday, March 1 with your child’s group designation and additional information.

We know families have a lot of questions. Lastly, we will host a parent information session for Grades 3 - 5.  Please see below for session information:

  • Thursday, March 18th @ 6:30 PM for 2-day hybrid students in 3rd, 4th & 5th starting the week of March 29th. Please use the  meeting code: woes-intermediate
